VH-1105 is a single use device (HME) protecting tracheostomized patients
from heat and humidity loss resulting from breathing through artificial airways
which bypass the mouth, nose and pharynx. The translucent moulded plastic
housing contains a hygroscopic material that traps the heat and moisture from
the expired air and returns it to the inspired air.
